Situated on the west bank of the River Severn, conferencing at New Road is perfectly located in central Worcester. Around 450 complimentary on-site car parking spaces and close proximity to all forms of public transport ensure that access for delegates couldn’t be easier and with an adjacent Premier Inn due to open around Christmas time, the option of staying over will allow conferences to span across multiple days.

Across four main venues New Road offers a broad range of conferencing facilities to cater for anything between 10 and 200 delegates. For smaller functions of between 10-12 delegates there are ten New Road meeting rooms, each with its own private balcony, which can also be hired as breakout rooms for meetings or workshops for larger conferences in other Suites.

Further along the New Road in the direction of St Johns is the recently refurbished and rebranded 1865 Lounge which has a capacity of around 80, with the option of dividing this into a smaller area if needed. This traditional Suite has its own private bar and an adjoining kitchen, allowing for any catering requirements to be adequately satisfied.

The Graeme Hick Pavilion, opened not long ago in 2010, offers a larger space which is ideal for conferences and exhibitions as it can hold up to 200 delegates on the first floor, with the second floor also able to hold around 50 for those smaller events or to be used as a breakout area from the main function room.

The most recent addition to the New Road brand, a five storey facility named aptly The View, boasts two Conference Suites, both of which are able to comfortably hold around 120 delegates. The View can be hired as individual floors but also as a whole, ensuring exclusivity of the building for larger events if required. An example would be to use both main rooms for conferencing and the Sports Bar for refreshments. There is also the option to make full use of the aforementioned New Road meeting rooms as breakout areas if required for individual meetings or smaller workshops.

This variety of options offers flexibility and versatility that ensures New Road is an ideal venue for businesses wishing to hold conferences of greatly varying sizes, supported by an established in-house catering team that is readily available to fulfil any refreshment or dining requirements.
